SRHS Foundation initiated an Annual Fund Campaign during Fiscal Year 2010-2011. The idea is to give members, faculty, parents and friends of SRHS an opportunity to make donations of any amount for broad school needs, designate a Department or Program, a gift in honor or in memory or support the Foundation’s Permanent Unrestricted Endowment Fund.
The goal of the initial year was to raise $20,000 for the various programs. The Foundation is please d to report that more than $25,000 was raised from the campaign. The donations ranged from $10 to $3,500 and supported the following areas:
- Academics,
- Agriculture,
- Athletics,
- Auditorium,
- Building and Construction,
- Library,
- Visual and Performing Arts,
- Vocational Education and
- The Permanent Unrestricted Endowment Fund
With such significant donor support, the Annual Fund Campaign will continue as an important part of our overall fundraising programs.
