The PPF Committee

The Panther Project Fund is a method through which SRHS faculty and staff can request Grants for educational projects. The PPF committee meets every month to hear and weigh requests. The 2021/2022 school year PPF administered $38,585.00 in grants. All of which supported the educational mission of SRHS thanks to the generosity of Foundation members.

No other local high school can boast of a support program as beneficial to students, faculty, and staff as the PPF. Chaired by Tony Negri Friend, PPF meets at Ihop on 4th Street in Santa Rosa at 6:30 am the first Friday before the second Tuesday of the month. Requests are usually presented in person so the committee can ask questions and get to know the teachers.

Current committee members include Foundation President Mary Beseda ’74, retired SRHS principal Tony Negri, Nadine Wiggins Smedshammer ’59, Paulette Gomes ’68, Monica Baldenegro ’95, Kristine Erken, Friend, Rhonda Loop, Board Treasurer ’73 and SRHS principal Kimberly Clissold Ph.D..
